Joining Allied Artists

Allied Artists of West Virginia, Inc. is a non-profit, educational and cultural association whose mission is to encourage, nurture, and present the work of West Virginia artists to the community.
New Members
New member jury sessions are held quarterly on January 13th, April 13th, July 13th and October 12th. Applicants must be a resident of West Virginia and at least 18 years old.
Our History
Since 1930, AAWV has encouraged artists to show their work, fostered the development of new works, and furthered artistic interests in the state of West Virginia.
Sponsored Juried Shows
We sponsor a juried exhibition every other year which has been held at locations such as the Parkersburg Art Center, the Clay Center in Charleston, and the Huntington Museum of Art.
Workshops & Meetings
Joining AAWV is a wonderful networking opportunity! We hold workshops once a year and meetings are monthly (except in winter).

Featured Artist of the Month

LINDA STONESTREET
Oil Painting Artist from Hurricane, WV
Gallery Eleven is proud to announce their Featured Artist for June 2025 is Linda Stonestreet. She will host a reception on Sunday, June 8th from 2:00- 4:00pm at Gallery Eleven located on the first floor of the Charleston Town Center. Linda is an abstract artist and her theme for June is "Visual Music". Using pourable acrylic paint, she "draws" with small squeeze bottles of different colors to depict abstract versions of music, instruments, sheet music, etc. This style has been compared to Picasso 'drawing with light in air'. There will be door prizes and light refreshments plus all of Linda's paintings will be available at a sale price of 20% off for Sunday, June 8th only.
