MEMBERS RECOGNITION:
Lee Ann Blevins will be having a show of her work at the Lobby Gallery, Carnegie Hall, Lewisburg. Reception will be Fri, Sept 11, 5:30pm - 7:00pm. The show runs through the end of October. Her painting, “After the Harvest”, was accepted into the Seasons of the Ridge Show, which runs through Sept 27, at Tamarack. She also had three entries accepted into the 2026 Allied Artists of WV Juried Exhibit. Congratulations!
Belinda B. Armstrong was one of six artists to be selected by the Public Art Committee of Marietta Main Street for the Post Street Mural Gallery in Marietta, OH. Her digitally produced artwork, “Down the Road a Piece”, will hang for 2 years. Three of her works were selected for The River 2026 Biennial Juried Exhibit at Parkersburg Art Center, where her painting “Sunshine Meadow” was awarded Best in Show. She is currently focusing on her upcoming solo exhibition, “Chasing the Muse”, which opens Nov 21 at Parkersburg Art Center. Congratulations!
Melanie Myhre had one painting selected for the Cream of the Crop Exhibit at Southern Ohio Museum, and she had three paintings accepted for the Seasons of the Ridge Exhibit at Tamarack. She is participating in Fallfest at Tamarack, and has an upcoming solo show in the Museum Gallery at Carnegie Hall, Sept 11 - Oct 30. Melanie also had one painting in The River Exhibit at Parkersburg Art Center, and she had four works in the 4th of July Show at French Art Colony, with one 2nd Place Award and two Honorable Mentions. Congratulations!
Liz Haley will be at Culturefest in Princeton, Sat, Sept 12, 11am - 3pm, doing a meet and greet the artist at Riff Raff Arts Collective. She had three pieces of artwork accepted at the Rags to Riches Exhibition which runs Oct 12 - Nov 29 at the Village Antiques and Art Gallery 610 in Huntington. Liz entered a needle felted 2D image of her ancestral home, a 2D coal miner, and a 2D image of a forest path. Congratulations!
