I am a native of St. Albans, WV. I currently live in Ripley where I have resided since 1987. I am a 1974 graduate of St. Albans High School and a 1978 graduate of West Virginia State college where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree. I am a retired draftsman/Steel detailer with 45 years experience. I enjoy painting, drawing, running and camping. Since my retirement, I have been working on producing more artwork and expanding my portfolio to enter more shows and exhibits. I recently juried into Tamarack and I am a new member of Allied Artists of WV.
Artistic Statement
My drawings and painting reflect my interests in items with a technical theme. I also have an interest in architecture, history, and historical figures. Some of my drawings and paintings reflect this interest. I enjoy landscapes. I like a free style painting in landscapes. In the future I would like to pursue Plein Air painting and Uban sketching genres.
